Climb the Escarpment Stairs
Are you interested in living out a fantasy where, like Rocky, you climb a large set of stairs and (as the music swells) you raise your arms in victory when you reach the top? Well, have we got just the thing for you. There are five sets of city built stairs just waiting for you to climb! You can access our favourite set of stairs by the Chedoke Golf Course and at the end of Dundurn Street South. Little known fact: these stairs lead to the Chedoke Radial Trail which is part of the Bruce Trail! Who knew?
When: All year round, but use caution in the winter months

I did the Chedoke steps last night incredible view and incredible feeling after going down then up. I would love to climb them all. On my next visit that will be my mission one at a time. Incredible feeling of accomplishment. Only 289 steps I need more challenge:) I did feel like Ms. Rocky.
