A Field-to-Meal Tour of Hamilton


Ever wonder where your food comes from?

This Sunday, PEAS (Promoting Eating Alternatively and Sustainably), an OPIRG working group held a field-to-meal tour of Hamilton.  Students, families and seniors came together to learn about local food production in and around the city.

At $7/piece for a chartered bus tour and a meal, how could you go wrong?  A resounding success all around, the event featured stops at Heart’s Content Organic Farm, West Avenue Growers, Dundurn Castle’s Kitchen Garden and a local supper at the Eva Rothwell Resource Centre.
