All Aboard the Holiday Train

The CP Holiday Train Boxcar Stage

If you haven’t heard of the Canadian Pacific holiday Train, it’s making its next stop in Hamilton tomorrow night!

The CP Holiday train is a cool event and it’s been running for 11 years. The goal is to raise money and awareness for food banks in Canada. The deal is: the train stops, the show starts. At each event, the Holiday Train provides a box car stage, a line up of great musical talent and a corporate contribution to the local food bank. The best part is the food and monetary donations stay in the community! So far, $4 million and 2 million pounds of food have been collected.

The train is stopping in Hamilton tomorrow, at 8:15 and will depart at 8:45. It will be stopping at the western yard at Lawrence Road (Just behind Gage Park). Prescott and Adam Puddington, along with special guests Shaun Verreault and Willy Porter will perform.

All you need is a donation of canned goods or funds to watch this great show, so come by and support your local food banks and see a boxcar stage show!

An added bonus: The tropical greenhouse at Gage Park will be open to the public free of charge all night. This place is beautiful, with tropical plants, a waterfall and koi ponds its a mini paradise right in Gage park!

So if you’re sold on this awesome event, getting there is easy. Taking the HSR you simply take the 5A Delaware and get off at Lawrence Road, right by the Gage Park Greenhouses.

See you there,
The Bubble Poppers
