Last week’s Buskerfest was filled with comical performers and awe inspiring acts from fascinating entertainers. As the street was closed down to all traffic, pedestrians were able to roam freely and watch some amazing acts. Not only were there engaging performances, but also tasty treats. A favourite amongst those at the festival were the ‘elephant ears’ (a pastry) and other carnival delights such as candy apples and cotton candy. The event gathered individuals from all age groups and many people thoroughly enjoyed the shows that added elements of humour, gruesomeness and of course amazement. One performer juggled numerous knives that were tossed to him from a participant selected from the crowd, and anther performed an assortment of magical tricks! The festival was great overall combing indulgent foods, great entertainment and of course amazing company!
