Where did summer go? Just because school is starting, doesn’t mean that opportunities to be engaged in the community end! Here are just a few interesting things happening in Hamilton this September!
Locke Street Festival- September 10th
The annual Locke Street Festival will be happening on the second Saturday of September. This event includes entertainment, food, and various venders. The event starts at 11:30AM and goes to about 9:30 PM. With over 100 different venders there is bound to be something for everyone on this eclectic street! Supercrawl- September 10th
Another great annual even happening in September is Supercrawl. Supercrawl is an event that honours diversity and art culture on James Street North. Open Streets Hamilton- September 18th
Open Streets Hamilton aims to raise awareness and encourage individuals to use sustainable transportation (biking, walking) as well as promoting Hamilton’s sustainable trails, paths and lanes. Open Streets Hamilton will be happening on James Street North (from York Blvd to Guise) and will be happening from 10AM- 5PM (rain or shine).
