Crash course in politics

Adapted from the Hamilton Spectator

With the provincial election in less than 3 weeks, it’s time for your crash course in each party’s platform. Of course you’re all going to get out and vote on Oct. 6 but it’s important that you make an informed choice. Your voice matters, and this election has a major impact on student life, and life in Hamilton. Do your part to ensure that Mac students’ voices are represented at Queen’s Park!

To make it easy, here’s a 5 step guide to getting involved:

1) Read through each party’s promises. (It’s in the picture… you’re welcome.)
2) Hit up the MSU All-candidates debate + ‘Party’ party on Tues. Sept 20.
3) Pick who you want to vote for.
4) Find some photo ID with your address on it.
5) Go out to the polls with your ID on Oct 6 (Or the advanced polls Sept 21&22 in CIBC Hall on campus).

Getting food at La Piazza during lunchtime is harder than voting. Don’t be lazy. Voting gets results.
