Call for Hamilton Snow Angels!

Got some spare time this winter and think you have what it takes to become a Snow Angel? The City of Hamilton, alongside Volunteer Hamilton, are looking for Snow Angels to help eligible seniors and disabled residents clear the snow off their sidewalks and walkways, in preparation for winter as it draws closer!

Developed in 2006 to address difficulty in sidewalk snow-clearing within 24 hours of a snowfall, the program has grown to serve residents 65 years of age or older who currently receive Seniors Tax Credit, and residents with one or more disabilities as per the Ontario Disability Support Program.

Snow Angels volunteers must be fourteen years of age, be physically able to participate in snow removal tasks, and pass a screening process involved with the program.
