Canada Day 1.4.5.

July 1st will mark Canada’s 145th birthday!! It’s interesting to observe others around me in the McMaster community choosing to travel home to celebrate Canada Day, when there are a good number of celebratory events to enjoy right here in Hamilton this weekend! Whether you are about music, historical entertainment, fireworks, fun in the sun or all of the above, there is something for everyone! Check out a few of the events going on this long weekend:
June 29

It’s Your Festival – Kicking it off with free admission, enjoy the food, entertainment, games and Canada Day ceremony!

July 1

Canada Day at Westfield Heritage Village – Tour the historical village learning interesting facts, and historically dressed entertainers/tour guides!

Canada Day Fireworks – Presented by the city of Hamilton, this event occurs at Bayfront and Pier 4 Parks. Fully equipped with food truck service, local entertainment, laughs and reminiscing with friends.    

Canada Day @ Webster’s Falls – Listen to the Dundas Concert Band, playing military based music since 1923.

Music at Fieldcote: Joe Sealy Quartet with Jackie Richardson – Live pianist, quartet and blues gospel. Sweet Harmonies – cant miss!
