Open Streets Hamilton: McMaster Edition


WALK, RIDE OR ROLL THROUGH OPEN STREETS!

McMaster University & Sterling Street and James Street North will be open on Sunday, September 23 between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. We invite you and your family to join the fun in this community event as we transform the streets into a shared space for everyone to enjoy. Walk, ride your bike or take one of the shuttle buses between both event locations!

THERE’S LOTS TO DO!

LIVE MUSIC – Of Gentlemen and Cowards – Steven Strongman Trio – McMaster Gospel Choir – Verve Dance Team and more on TWO STAGES
KIDS SCAVENGER HUNT – Get the kids to learn about the University in their backyard with this fun activity
SPORTS & GAMES – Play Pro vs. Joes games and participate in dance demos on campus; try the Climbing Wall or High Ropes Tower, play squash, basketball, volleyball, swim, kayak in the David Braley Athletic Centre.
PLANETARIUM SHOW – Check out the night skies of Hamilton and beyond at McMaster’s own Planetarium – *Registration recommended – see below.
OPEN LECTURES – Two of McMaster’s professors will offer engaging talks in these ‘Classes without Quizzes’ – see details below.
MCMASTER MUSEUM OF ART TOURS – 11 am & 2 pm
