Hockey Night in Hamilton
Winter is coming.
And with that, it’s comforting to know that we can still get our Hockey fix, despite the NHL lockout. Hamilton has our very own team that competes in the AHL, and you can catch their games on TSN, on Sirius XM Radio, online, and in person! The Hamilton Bulldogs play home games at Copps Collisseum, and you can get tickets for just over $20. With the Vanier past us, and the next Bulldogs game coming up soon, it’s about time you transition into Winter by checking out the Bulldogs and supporting our AHL team!
Hamilton also has a Minor Hockey team – the Huskies! With both AA and AAA teams, the Huskies are a force to be reckoned with in the Ontario Minor Hockey scene. If you love Hockey and want to get involved in the development of future stars, you should even consider getting involved with the team. The Huskies are looking for coaches and technical directors for this year, so if you think you can make a difference to this team, then you should definitely apply!
And if you’re interested in keeping up with Hockey news, then you might be interested in knowing about what’s happening with a potential OHL team in Hamilton. The Spec wrote an article just the other day that said the Erie OHL team is competing with the Bulldogs for placement at Copps Collisseum. Would you rather an OHL team, or an AHL team in Hamilton? Or both? Leave your comment below!
