Another successful day of exploring

A big thank you to those who joined us for our second PTB outing of the year! We had a great group of people who braved Saturday’s chill to check out the lovely downtown street, some of whom had never been there before. What was lacking in warmth was made up for in good company.

Some of the highlights included a stop by Locke St. Bakery, a warm drink at Johnny’s Coffee, and wandering through some local craft stores. And in true civic engagement spirit, we stopped to talk to a reporter from CPAC (Cable Public Affairs Channel, for those not in the know!) to answer some questions about Canadian politics. It may not be the most watched channel of university students, but it’s definitely a great medium to get details on what’s happening in federal government. Check it out–maybe you’ll see us there!

And if you’re keen on hanging out with the PTB crew and checking out the city, join us on Friday for the monthly James St. North Art Crawl. We’ll meet up in the evening to take the bus there–keep an eye on our blog for the exact time and place. We hope to see you there! Until then, keep exploring.
