A beautiful afternoon at the falls


First off, I just want to say thanks to those who came to our hike last Friday. As it turns out, it was a beautiful day for it. We definitely embraced the idea of exploring the area, sometimes straying from the path along the stream to Webster’s Falls to get a good look at everything. Sure, it was a little muddy in the spring thaw (although one of us was smart enough to wear rain boots), but a great time.

And we couldn’t resist taking some pictures along the way.

Michael and I got a closer look at the icicles. Despite the warm weather, the shade kept this area cool and the ice in tact.
