Change Camp is Coming to McMaster!

ImageOn October 16th 2013 McMaster is going to be hosting it’s second ever CHANGE CAMP in
CIBC Hall from 6:30-8:00pm. The goal of this participant- driven unconference is to bring
together members of the Hamilton and McMaster communities to engage in discussions on
relevant issues that affect us all. There will be opening remarks and 7 groups will be set up for facilitated conversations on a variety of topics related to the University and the community.

The topics are:
-Youth Retention
-Community-based learning/ experiential education
-Mental Health & Community
-Neighborhood Relations/Housing & Blended Neighborhoods
-Downtown Renewal
-Participatory Budgeting
-Future of Public Transit/Bike lanes

The ideas, conflicts and collaborations generated from this event will then be disseminated
among the University and community as a resource and platform for change. YOU are invited to come out and share your perspective, engage with these issues and build connections within the community. ALL ARE WELCOME to participate in this event, and refreshments will be provided!
