Exploring Vibrancy

Even wanted to get out and explore Hamilton, but needed a great excuse?

Working in partnership with McMaster University, CoBALT Connects is finding out what makes a neighbourhood vibrant for the Expressing Vibrancy project, and is in search of people who want to see Hamilton in a new way!

CoBALT Connects are looking for volunteer Neighbourhood Explorers to help with a study by completing unguided tours of Hamilton neighbourhoods working through a questionnaire as they go, which is meant to garner collective impressions of a place – how it feels walking around, how friendly and accessible it is, etc.

This is a great opportunity to explore our city, meet other civic-minded people, and make a contribution to a first-of-its-kind study. CoBALT Connects are seeking volunteers representative of the community fabric of Hamilton.

Volunteers can complete shifts in small groups, pairs, or individually, and a staff contact person will be on hand throughout. Volunteers must be 18+ and residents of Hamilton.

We will be in Waterdown on Friday, November 1st from 8:00-10:00pm and Dundas on Saturday, November 2nd from 12:00-2:00pm
